Stephanie Martin

Clinical Psychologist, Founder of Gather Psychology

Stephanie Martin is an experienced clinical psychologist passionate about helping people achieve their treatment goals and improve their wellbeing. She has worked across public mental health, not-for-profit organisations, research, and private practice, gaining extensive training in psychological assessment and treatment for adults, children, and adolescents.

Stephanie is deeply committed to supporting rural and remote communities with high-quality, accessible mental health services. She has experience working with presentations such as anxiety disorders, depression, stress, grief, developmental trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Her approach is collaborative and strength-focused—taking the time to understand each person’s unique needs, values, and goals. For neurodivergent clients, Stephanie uses a neurodiversity-affirming approach, celebrating individual differences and creating supportive environments that reduce distress, foster understanding, and build meaningful skills.

Stephanie holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Psychology (First Class Honours) from the University of New South Wales. She is fully registered and endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). Stephanie is also an AHPRA Board-Approved Supervisor for psychologists in training and is a qualified yoga teacher (200-hour certification with Jai Yoga Australia).

Stephanie is not accepting new client referrals as she is taking maternity leave from December 2025.

Our team is still accepting referrals.
